We look for ewes that are heavy boned,  have large capacity and are very productive. We breed for carcass traits, milking ability, and mothering ability. The standard for our ewes are that they have to mother up quickly and raise their own twins and triplets. Because ewes are the foundation of any flock we take the selection of our replacement ewes very seriously.
